This data product centralizes, normalizes, and analyzes information regarding the evolution of grid electricity consumption and associated CO₂ emissions savings at the municipal level, based on official sources and consolidated data. Through Empower-X, we provide access to a detailed monthly resolution history, allowing for a homogeneous comparison of year-on-year variation (for example, January 2026 vs. January 2025) and its impact in terms of decarbonization.

This use case acts as a source of truth (Trusted Data Provider), enabling public administrations, utilities, and energy agents to integrate this information into their territorial analyses, sustainability plans, and energy transition strategies. When combined with other datasets via Compute-to-Data, it facilitates the identification of consumption patterns, the evaluation of energy efficiency policies, and the development of predictive models oriented towards emissions reduction, driving data-driven decision-making in a secure and interoperable manner.
